Dealboard.net.au

Dealboard.net.au seems to be registered to the same owners as Dealboard.com.au

It lists the same contact info if you're looking to check up on the status of your order which is to call 1300 783 865.

Further information I've found regarding current enquiries into recent purchases states:
They can be reached on 02 9283 5400 and their doors are always open at Level 3, 650 George Street, Sydney. However, it's best to email them for a quick response. The designated person who is looking after this . If you prefer to receive a refund on a purchase please email Dealboard with your voucher number and they'll take care of the rest.
This is what I believe is an official representative.

Is Dealboard a scam?

Hi,
If you've ever had problems with any business, such as Dealboard, there are a few steps you can follow to ensure you reach your desired outcome.

I'm a big fan of the book, "How to win friends and influence people".
From this book you can learn a lot of lessons about how to deal with people and business transactions you might not be too satisfied with.
I hear a lot of people cry foul about Deal sites, saying "scam scam scam", when really, it's just either 1. A misunderstanding, or 2. A lack of service.

-Edit: Since writing this Dealboard seems to no longer be operational according to the SEO Melbourne site's article on Dealboard. Further investigation seems to reveal the company has gone into administration, so the rest of this post may ring true/be quite ironic, but I still stand by your right to right any wrongs in court or however you can, as long as you are in the right.

For something to be a scam is a big call, and a big business that was actually illegally scamming people, would not be in business long, especially when based in Australia. There are laws and regulations to protect consumers, and if they don't protect you, and you are actually in the right legally, then you would have no problem taking it to court, that is if is was a real scam.

If you are not prepared to take something to court, think twice before you possibly libel a company like Dealboard and call it a scam.

I can't vouch for individual transactions or deals you may have completed with Dealboard, but reading a lot of reviews and feedback sites about almost all of the Australian daily deals sites, it seems everyone is very quick to label things a scam, when at best it is an extended delay, or a lack of understanding terms and conditions.

If you purchase something and it does not arrive in the condition or time frame that Dealboard or any other company has specified in their user agreement, then certainly you have a right to be annoyed, and seek restitution. But as someone sitting on the sidelines, and having raised a lot of complaints with companies, I understand complexities can occur that can cause delays and things that you or the company could not have forcasted, such as shipping delays due to international disasters. This exact case happened during the Iceland volcano crisis, much traffic and shipping of products was delayed worldwide.

I can't speak on behalf of Dealboard and have no idea if they give any reasons for claimed delays, but I understand that delays can happen. Once the maximum time limit has been reached, and I have escalated it with their company, then I can take it up with consumer affairs, but at least then I can make an educated statement about my experience.

Dealboard

Dealboard is a new Australian deals site founded in 2011. Their head office is based in Sydney, NSW, 2000. It costs nothing to join.

DealBoard is a group buying site providing many popular household and backyard items, bathroom goods and beauty accessories, sports equipment, home & garden products, electronic gadgets, furniture and many more categories! Each day you have access to a special members deal sale from a wide range of categories as per listed above, covering everything from clothing to electrical goods
Their mission is to give YOU the customer a whopping 50%-90% off popular items DAILY! Their claim of what makes them different is that Dealboard's large audience means they can provide the lowest possible prices.
To get an overview of the company: DealBoard offers large savings on popular products each and every day! I find the deals are on products I'd actually want and need, at hugely discounted prices. Unlike some of the other daily deals site's I have been subscribed to, where I rarely find any sales of interest

Their home page is located at dealboard.com.au and if you are interested you may subscribe to their daily notifications newsletter so you can receive the daily deals offers every day.
Try it out, and let me know what you think.

If you have any questions or would like to follow up on an order, they also have customer service available, which is important for an online company.  They can be reached on (02) 9283 5400 with opening hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
